How to disable NT5
The NT5 can be disabled to stop it from sharing its location. It will no longer report to Google’s Find Hub network, and the owner can no longer get updates on its current location.
If you receive a message on your mobile device that a NT5 has been detected near you and you are not familiar with this device, you can manage this NT5 through the system notification that you have received. After locating the item, use the steps described below to disable it. The owner will no longer receive updates on the location of this NT5, and it will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts.
By using the Android™ app
Connect your NT5 with the corresponding Android™ app on your mobile phone.Enter the device details page of your NT5.Go to More Settings and find the Find Hub option.Follow the on-screen instructions to disable the Find Hub function.Once disabled, the NT5 will stop reporting location to Google’s Find Hub network.
Manual operation for Find Hub
To turn on Find Hub:Squeeze and hold both the throttle grip and brake lever at the same time for 3 seconds.The device will activate the Find Hub function and reconnect to the network when available.
To reset Find Hub:Squeeze and hold both the throttle grip and brake lever at the same time for 5 seconds.The device will reset the Find Hub settings and connection status.
How to re‑enable the NT5
By using the Android™ app
Connect your NT5 with the corresponding Android™ app.Go to the device page and open More Settings.Enable the Find Hub function again in the Find Hub option.The NT5 will resume reporting location to Google’s Find Hub network.
Manual operation
Squeeze and hold both the throttle grip and brake lever at the same time for 3 seconds.The device will re-enable the Find Hub function automatically.
